Dr. Shaun Gabbidon, distinguished professor of criminal justice in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Public Affairs, visited the Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 12 to deliver the 2016 distinguished lecture. Gabbidon’s presentation was titled “Shopping While Black: Understanding and Combating Racial Profiling in Retail Settings.”

Hosted by Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, Dr. Vivian Vasquez, professor of education at American University in Washington D.C., will present “Negotiating Critical Literacies In Schools and Communities” on Tuesday, April 26 in the library Morrison Gallery at 5:40 to 8:15 p.m.

The Center for Signal Integrity at Penn State Harrisburg will host the tenth annual Central Pennsylvania Symposium on Signal Integrity, Friday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Capital Union Building on campus. Signal integrity involves the quality of electrical signals passing through connectors used in electronic devices like computers or cellular phones.
