Starting fall 2017, Penn State Harrisburg intercollegiate athletics will add women’s golf as the 17th NCAA Division III sport offered at the college. The program will compete in the highly competitive Capital Athletic Conference (CAC).

Dr. Esfakur Rahman, lecturer in mechanical engineering in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology, will present “Joining of Metallic Alloys using Transient Liquid Phase (TLP) Diffusion Bonding Method” on Wednesday, October 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge on campus.
On October 5, Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET) held its first career fair. The fair attracted more than 60 employers from local, regional and national industry leaders including TE Connectivity, Exelon, Metso Minerals, and Reynolds Enterprises.
Penn State Harrisburg will welcome more than 600 alumni and their families back to campus to celebrate the college’s 50th anniversary at “We Are Weekend: Alumni Open House,” October 14 through 16.
