University Libraries’ Libby reading app will feature a women’s history month virtual display of e-books and audiobooks available for student and employee borrowing. In addition, a first-floor Paterno Library leisure-reading bookshelf near Starbucks’ order pickup area will have similar books available for all library users’ checkout at first floor library desks. Peruse curated titles about extraordinary women, issues affecting women, and fictional strong women protagonists.
Penn State Harrisburg’s Office of Research and Outreach has provided funding to support 12 undergraduate research projects, involving 21 students, during the 2024-25 academic year, through a new initiative designed to support and grow undergraduate research opportunities on campus.
Emily Getz, a cook for Housing and Food Services at Penn State Harrisburg, earned first place in the Mid-Atlantic region at the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) 2025 Culinary Challenge, taking home an American Culinary Foundation (ACF) gold medal for the dish she prepared.
