Penn State Harrisburg student Maggie Mehalko and her fellow team members won their case category during the KPMG sponsored Team Case Competition at the Beta Gamma Sigma 2017 Global Leadership Summit in Orlando, Florida. Mehalko was the first Penn State Harrisburg student to attend the summit.
The Penn State Harrisburg School of Public Affairs will host a Civic Education and Leadership event on Jan. 31 in the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg.
Applications are being accepted now for the master of professional studies in criminal justice policy and administration, a new 30-credit program being offered online through Penn State World Campus and taught by faculty from Penn State’s College of Liberal Arts and the Penn State Harrisburg School of Public Affairs. Courses will begin in fall 2018.

Dr. Weston Kensinger is helping by providing tools to graduate students to make a positive difference. He hopes the students in his colloquium class — mostly working professionals — will take their newfound knowledge to the wider community.
