Hampden Medical Center, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2021, is being built on 44 acres in the Wentworth Corporate Center at the intersection of Good Hope and Wertzville roads near Interstate 81 in Hampden Township, Cumberland County.
2019-20 Penn State Laureate William J. Doan will bring his “Anxiety Project” speaking tour to Penn State Harrisburg on Nov. 5. As laureate, Doan is using his art to explore what it’s like to live with anxiety and depression, giving frequent performances, discussions and workshops throughout Pennsylvania.
Actor Sean Astin will visit Penn State Harrisburg at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. His discussion will focus on his battle with bipolar disorder, mental health awareness, his activism on campus, and more. The event will take place in the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre (SEC Building).
