David Witwer, professor of American studies in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Humanities, has been named Penn State Laureate for the 2020-21 academic year.
Penn State was awarded 10 grants through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Manufacturing PA initiative. The initiative awarded $2.8 million, across 43 grants in total, and will bring together government, industry, and higher education in holistic collaboration to spur new technologies and processes in the manufacturing sector.
Penn State University Libraries recently recognized five outstanding faculty and staff from among its more than 500 employees, this year representing the Penn State Harrisburg and University Park campuses, and continuing a tradition spanning at least 46 years.
