Javier Mendoza brings his acclaimed talents to campus Sept. 26

Javier Mendoza, named the best Latin Artist in St. Louis for 2006, brings his Spanish American sounds to Penn State Harrisburg for a 4:30 p.m. concert Wednesday, Sept. 26.

He is not white. He is black. Yet, Klan-Destine Relationships musician and author Daryl Davis has come in closer contact with members of the Ku Klux Klan than most white non-members and certainly most blacks.

And he continues to do so, making him one of the most unique lecturers on the college speaking circuit today.

Former ’class clown’ brings his humor to Penn State Harrisburg

A native of Philadelphia, Romont Harris got his first taste of the spotlight while in high school, where he reigned as the unofficial class clown.

Since then, he has taken his comedic talents on the road where he has become a popular performer entertaining audiences with a "well-rounded show of comedy, song, and dance."

Olympic champion to conduct swim clinic Nov. 10

Age-group competitive swimmers in the area will have the opportunity to receive instruction from Olympic Gold Medalist Josh Davis when Penn State Harrisburg's aquatics center hosts a clinic Saturday, Nov. 10 from 1 to 5 p.m.
