People of color have suffered disproportionately from COVID-19, but this is not surprising, according to members of a panel during Penn State Harrisburg's recent “Health Disparities in the Age of COVID-19” discussion. The panelists said the health industry has long produced worse outcomes for underrepresented populations, adding that it does not have to be this way.
