When singing artist and spoken word performer Shanelle Gabriel was diagnosed with lupus in 2004, she quickly decided that her health problems would not limit her success.

NCAA advances athletic program from second to fourth year of provisional membership

The NCAA today (August 10) announced Penn State Harrisburg has received its approval to advance from the second to the fourth year of provisional membership during the 2009-10 season.

The advance means the college’s intercollegiate athletic program is entering its final year of provisional status and is now on track to become a full member of the NCAA’s Division III in 2010-11.
