Author–illustrator Laura Gao is scheduled to visit Penn State Harrisburg for a speaking and book signing event 5 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at 210 Capital Union Building. Gao's graphic memoir, “Messy Roots, A Graphic Memoir of a Wuhanese-American,” tells the story of Gao’s childhood, moving from Wuhan, China, to Texas and discovering her queer identity.
As part of our regular “We Are!” feature, we recognize seven Penn Staters who have gone above and beyond what’s asked of them in their work at the University.
Roderick Lee, associate professor of information systems in the Penn State Harrisburg School of Business Administration, has been appointed to serve on the inaugural advisory council of The PhD Project, a nonprofit organization helping to diversify college business schools and, ultimately, the business world.
