Use this form to suggest a news item or story idea that promotes Penn State Harrisburg in a positive way. Editorial staff will make final determination of coverage.
- Story idea suggestions: new research, a special event, an accomplishment, a human-interest story, a guest speaker, etc. We prioritize stories that center on our students, faculty, staff, and the broader college community. Generally, we do not provide coverage for events hosted by external organizations unless they are closely connected to the college.
- NOTE - All event-related requests should be submitted after the Event Calendar submission has been entered. Event coverage requires three weeks advance notice. The Office of Strategic Communications will make every effort to accommodate requests submitted later, but cannot guarantee coverage.
- Each submission will be reviewed. If determined to be newsworthy, Strategic Communications staff will follow up with you to get details, and to develop and disseminate the story.
