Welcome to the Global Lions Mentor (GLM) Program! This program provides an opportunity for new, incoming international students to connect with peer mentors as they transition into the Penn State Harrisburg community.
Mission
In conjunction with The International Student Office, the GLM program will facilitate, equip leadership skills, and support personal growth and development through opportunity for involvement in a variety of activities. It provides a social network for mentors and mentees in the GLM program while contributing to the Penn State Harrisburg vision for global learning and internationalization of campus.
Objective
The objective of the GLM program is to support new international students with their transition into Penn State Harrisburg's campus life, and foster community engagement and interaction.
All incoming international students are encouraged to apply to the program prior to arriving at Penn State Harrisburg. One the application is received, mentees will be introduced to their Global Lion Mentor.
