Activate your Access Account | Town Square (Outside Housing & Food Office) or Computer Lab Help Desk (Lower Level Olmsted Building) |
Schedule your Classes | Work with your Academic unit or the Division of Undergraduate Studies Advising Center |
File your Semester Bill | Bursar's Office, Swatara Building |
Complete Biographical Data Sheet | Submit to the International Student Support Services (ISSS), in E131 Olmsted Building, by due date listed on form |
Participate in Document Check-In | Provide I-94, I-20/DS2019, Visa and Passport to ISSS by due date listed on Biographical Data Sheet |
Purchase Health Insurance or Complete Waiver Form | For waiver, submit to ISSS by September 10 each year |
Submit Health History Form | Can be found at the University Health Services' site |
Change your e-mail forwarding address | Can be completed at ITS Secure Server. |
Get involved on campus and in the community | Check the events calendar |
Student Annual Checklist
- Review current I-20/DS-2019 -- Extend temporary stay (if necessary)
- Review passport -- Extend passport (if necessary)
- File income tax returns (Between January 1 and April 15)
- Report any changes in enrollment or major
- Purchase health insurance or file waiver at the beginning of each fall semester
Before Traveling Outside the United States
- Check VISA validity
- Get I-20 or DS-2019 signed from the Office of International Students
- Contact Office of International Students
Before Final Departure from Penn State
- Report to the Office of International Students Support Services
- Complete Exit Form
