Production Opportunities
The Penn State Harrisburg School of Humanities offers three mainstage productions per school year. These include the fall play, the spring musical, and an original play every winter to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Auditions for the fall and winter plays take place at the beginning of fall semester in late August/early September, with auditions for the spring musical happening in early December. All students are welcome to audition, no experience necessary. Opportunities are also available backstage helping with design, choreography, stage management, and stage crew. All three productions use state-of-the-art equipment in the 365-seat Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre, located in the Student Enrichment Center. Limited paid positions are available.
Auditions for the 2025 fall play Radium Girls and the winter MLK Play will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, in the Kulkarni Theatre.
