The faculty of the Communications program encourage students to participate in an internship during their senior year at Penn State Harrisburg. Internships can complement a student’s academic career and provide opportunities for career exploration, skill enhancement, and professional networking. To be eligible for an internship, students must complete 78 credits, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, permission of an internship faculty supervisor, the Communications Program Coordinator, and the Director of the School of Humanities, and secure a verified internship site. Students may select an internship site based on their interests or may review the internship site catalog located in the School of Humanities office. Additional information regarding internships can be obtained from a student’s faculty adviser or the Communications Program Coordinator. See related documents.
