Erin Carr

Erin Carr started working at Penn State Harrisburg in January 2023 as the aquatics administrative support assistant in the Recreation & Aquatics Department. She is from Sussex County in Northern New Jersey.

Erin has spent the past twelve-plus years in a variety of settings within professional sports ̶ primarily baseball. She worked in the NFL for five years as a part-time employee with the New York Jets’ Consumer Sales and Service Department. She started her baseball career working for two independent baseball teams in the Frontier League (formerly Can-Am League) as a group sales and event coordinator and team store manager. In 2018, she won a championship working in her hometown with the Sussex County Miners baseball team. In 2019, she moved to central Pennsylvania to continue her sports career with the Harrisburg Senators, double A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, as an account executive and gameday operations. Due to Covid, her time was cut short with the Senators. She has also worked at Spooky Nook Sports as the guest services and food and beverage manager and currently works part time with the Lancaster Barnstormers. Erin hopes one day to work in the MLB.

Erin graduated from King's College in 2014 with her bachelor of arts degree in Communications.
Erin grew up a Green Bay Packers and New York Mets fan. In her free time, Erin enjoys going to country music concerts with her friends, playing co-ed softball, and seeing new places. She has three brothers and 2 Labrador Retrievers named Maggie and Buddy. Erin currently resides in Camp Hill, PA.
