Each semester, Penn State Harrisburg honors six graduating students as student marshals. These students are selected by the five schools at the college and the Office of Graduate Studies and are chosen based on their academic achievement, engagement with their program, and involvement in curricular and non-academic pursuits.
At the Commencement ceremony, the marshals carry their school's banner and lead their fellow graduates during the processional.
