The Kinesiology Physical Activity Program (KPAP) are service courses offered through the Kinesiology department. KINE 001-096 are courses that are approved to assist in fulfilling the GHA component of the General Education requirement for baccalaureate students. The courses offer quality movement experiences and are designed to promote an active and healthful lifestyle across one’s lifespan.
University policy prohibits any student from registering for more than one Kinesiology GHA class per semester during the normal registration period. After the normal registration period has been completed all registration controls are lifted from Kinesiology GHA classes.
There are KPAP courses for everyone! In any given semester, over 15 different types of classes are offered which involve more than 500 students. Offerings include activities such as the traditional racquet sports, team sports, and also more fitness-oriented classes such as walking, personal conditioning, and strength training. However, our most popular classes continue to be ballroom dance and yoga. For a complete listing of course offerings, please check LionPath.
