Purpose: To recognize a student from each Commonwealth Campus whose outstanding qualities of character, scholarship, leadership and citizenship have been directed into programs and services that have positively influenced fellow students and have contributed to the prestige and well-being of their campus and hence, to the reputation of the University a whole.
Eligibility: Consideration of this award should be given to all students enrolled at the various Commonwealth Campuses who are completing at least two full years of undergraduate students in either the associate degree or baccalaureate degree program and who during this period of enrollment have consistently demonstrated those qualities which the Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award honors. A student who has previously received the award at another campus is ineligible.
Nature of the Award: The recipient shall have their name engraved on a plaque permanently displayed at the campus. In addition, they will receive a certificate and a medallion.
