Forum to focus on funding a startup company

HERSHEY, Pa. — Solutions for successfully funding a startup company is the topic of the next Innovation Café and Forum, to be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Gallery Lounge in the Olmsted Building at Penn State Harrisburg. A networking session from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. will provide an opportunity to meet one-on-one with members of the panel, colleagues, peers and individuals from the entrepreneurial community. This program is presented by the Penn State College of Medicine’s Center for Medical Innovation and Penn State Harrisburg.

The forum moderator will be Michael Hund, who represents early-stage life science technology companies and emerging growth businesses involved in the commercialization of intellectual property, including the licensing and transfer of technology from and to universities. The panel, consisting of Andy Agrawal, Kevin Harter, Stephanie Reisinger and Diane Sterthous, has experience dealing with all aspects of the funding process.

Registration is required here. Attendees are encouraged to attend both sessions, but attendance at the forum is not required to attend the networking session.
