Penn State Harrisburg panel to discuss police body-worn cameras

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg will present a discussion panel on Pennsylvanians’ perceptions of police body-worn cameras from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge on campus.

Panelists include Jennifer Gibbs, assistant professor of criminal justice from the Penn State Harrisburg School of Public Affairs; Andy Hoover, communications director of the ACLU of Pennsylvania; Lt. Stephen Latshaw of the Carlisle Police Department; and Patrick Cawley, executive director and counsel for the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee.

The research on Pennsylvanians’ perceptions on police body-worn cameras was conducted by the Penn State Harrisburg Center for Survey Research and Gibbs.
