MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg will present a series of information sessions for its second-degree nursing program via Zoom.
Penn State Harrisburg offers The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing's Second Degree Program, which is intended for those that desire to begin a career in nursing and have already earned a bachelor’s degree in another field.
The sessions will be offered Monday, Feb. 26; Tuesday, May 21; and Wednesday, July 24, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sessions are open to all who may be interested in the BSN Second Degree in Nursing program, which may be undertaken upon completion of a first undergraduate degree.
The presentations will include information about prerequisites, the application process, timelines, costs, and will provide an overview of the program; as well as offering opportunities to hear from representatives from the financial aid office, admissions, and College of Nursing graduate programs to discuss long-term educational and career planning.
