St. Germain to read works touching on the opioid crisis

Poet Sheryl St. Germain will be reading works for her book titled “The Small Door of Your Death” on Wednesday, February 21 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Oliver LaGrone Cultural Center in the Olmsted Building on campus.

Her book discusses losing her son to a heroin overdose, and uses poetry to address the heroin crisis, as well as the grief and sorrow such losses create in survivors. For more information about the author, visit her webpage at sheryl-stgermain.com.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Jen Hirt at [email protected].

This event is co-sponsored by Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Humanities, the Student Activity Fund, and the Commission for Women.
