Dr. Meng-Hua Hsieh, assistant professor of marketing in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Business Administration, will present “The Influence of Power on Health Decisions” on Wednesday, January 31 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge on campus.
The growth of the healthcare market emphasizes the urgency of performing research to investigate factors that influence compliance with health behaviors. This study aims to examine how a consumer's sense of power influences their intentions to perform an advocated health behavior and how consumers can be better equipped to make healthy decisions.
Dr. Hsieh’s research interests include healthcare marketing and the influence of consumer motivations on consumer behavior.
