Interested in getting a head start in learning the key concepts of calculus for your STEM major?
The Online Math Summer Bridge Program offers students a preview of a first semester calculus course, Math 140, and the opportunity to deepen their understanding of important pre-calculus concepts. The primary objectives of this program are to:
- expose students to the fundamental concepts of calculus
- improve student mathematics communication skills-both oral and written
- boost self-confidence, mathematical abilities and foster critical thinking skills
Eligibility Requirements
- Admitted to Penn State Harrisburg for the Fall Semester
- An interest in a STEM major
Program Features
- No fees for the program
- Program runs three weeks, July 29 - August 16, 2024
- Online learning modules
- Peer tutoring sessions
- Interactive groupwork sessions with math faculty
- Free $100 Voucher from the bookstore upon successfully completing the program
- Mentor for the academic year 2024-2025
