Purpose:
The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding full-time or poart-time undergraduate students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the Communications major, School of Humanities, at Penn State Harrisburg, and who plan to pursue a career in the Communications field.

Eligibility:
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time or part-time students whose ethnic, cultural, and/or national backgrounds contribute to the diversity of the student body, who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the Communications major offered by the School of Humanities at Penn State Harrisburg, who demonstrate strong interest and potential for success in the print communications field through participation in activities at the high school and lower college level, who achieved positive academic records, and who have exhibited a strong commitment to a career in journalism. If there are no eligible students whose ethnic, cultural, and/or national background contribute to the diversity of the student body, then consideration shall be given to all other students who meet the above criteria.
