Carolyn A. Julian, student aid adviser and veterans affairs coordinator at Penn State Harrisburg, has been elected as the 2016-17 president of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (PASFAA).
Julian was awarded the Leadership Award in 2011-12 and Distinguished Service Award in 2015. She has been a member of PASFAA since 1987. Julian received her business degree at Penn State Harrisburg and has over 40 years of service in financial aid.
The Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators has approximately 800 members representing over 270 Pennsylvania educational institutions, lenders and organizations involved with higher education. PASFAA's mission is to provide professional development of members and other constituencies, to advocate for access to postsecondary education and to educate the public on financial aid and funding opportunities.
Julian currently resides in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
