Penn State Harrisburg celebrated spring 2025 commencement on May 10.

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg hosted its spring 2025 commencement ceremony on May 10 to mark the graduates of the class of 2025’s completion of their academic experience and to recognize their many accomplishments. The ceremony was held at the Giant Center in Hershey.

Penn State Harrisburg alum Khalid Mumin, superintendent of the Reading School District, delivered the keynote address. Tyler Muessig, who received a bachelor of science in computer science during the ceremony, served as the student speaker. Mariah Kupfner, assistant professor of American studies and public heritage in the School of Humanities and recipient of Penn State Harrisburg’s 2025 Teaching Excellence Award, served as faculty speaker.

Student marshals for the fall ceremony were: Mubeen Jawed (School of Behavioral Sciences and Education), Sarah Shaub (School of Business Administration), Cristina Orozco (School of Humanities), Samuel Albright (School of Public Affairs), Jie Lee (School of Science, Engineering, and Technology) and Omar Abdulqader (J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School).
