Penn State Harrisburg hosted commencement ceremonies May 6 and 7 to mark the Class of 2021’s completion of their academic experience and to recognize their many accomplishments.
Penn State Harrisburg hosted commencement ceremonies May 6 and 7 to mark the Class of 2021’s completion of their academic experience and to recognize their many accomplishments. Virtual and livestream options also were available for students, friends and family members who were unable to attend or preferred to participate online. More than 800 degrees were conferred this semester. Ceremonies were held at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
This celebration acknowledges the value and uniqueness of underrepresented student experiences and commemorates and highlights the accomplishments of these individuals. Graduating seniors, including students of racially- and ethnically-minoritized identities and LGBTQIA+ identities, were invited to submit photos to be included in a celebratory video.
