The Center for Security Research and Education (CSRE) is accepting applications for its spring 2019 Seed Grant Program to support security-related scholarship and educational programs at Penn State.
Social impact bonds are multi-party contracts between agencies seeking financial support and funders with money to lend them. State and local governments are signing contracts with investment houses, banks and foundations, leveraging capital from investors and expertise from service providers to do everything from helping the homeless find shelter to rehabilitating drug addicts.
Jane Filby Leipold, a 1988 graduate of Penn State Harrisburg’s MBA program, 2013 Penn State Alumni Fellow, and former senior vice president of global human resources at TE Connectivity, will deliver the commencement address at Penn State Harrisburg's fall 2018 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15.
