Teaching Support
For writing, especially writing-intensive (W) courses, the Learning Center:
- offers writing workshops designed to support course-specific/discipline-specific instructional goals
- provides information and direction for designing writing assignments of varying lengths and purposes
- helps in the development of writing-intensive course syllabi and course materials
Professional Writing
We provide writing support to faculty in their professional writing, including research, agenda development and focus, manuscript preparation and development, peer review projects, and publications revision, in the same collaborative style we use with students. While the Learning Center is pleased to offer these support services to faculty, we can only do so during Spring Break, Winter Break, and Summer sessions, so that we can continue to be a student-first resource.
