Kochanov First-Generation Information Technology Programs Scholarship

Purpose:

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to a first-generation student enrolled in any Information Technology baccalaureate program offered by the School of Business Administration at Penn State Harrisburg who has demonstrated high academic achievement, campus-community engagement, and financial need.

$2,500: $1250 per semester (fall and spring)

Eligibility:

  • Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to a first-generation undergraduate student (neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree) based on high academic achievement, campus-community engagement, and financial need.
  • Preference will be given to those students who have completed the entry to major requirements and officially enrolled in any Information Technology baccalaureate program offered by the School of Business Administration (i.e., Information Systems, Information Sciences and Technology, Security and Risk Analysis, Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations, Human-Centered Design and Development, and Enterprise Technology Integration).
  • Student must be enrolled full-time at Penn State Harrisburg.
  • Student must have submitted the 2022/2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
