Purpose:
The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Harrisburg who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses and who are majoring in or planning to major in a degree program focused in technology, engineering, or mathematics.

Eligibility:
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students who are majoring in or planning to major in a degree program that focuses on technology, engineering, or math at Penn State Harrisburg, who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and have a demonstrated financial need ("General Eligibility Criteria"). From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students whose gender, race, ethnic, cultural, and/or national background contribute to the diversity of the student body. If no students meet the first preference in a given year or if there are sufficient funds to award additional scholarships beyond the eligible recipients who meet the first preference, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the General Eligibility Criteria, regardless of preference. Scholarships may be awarded to eligible recipients regardless of enrollment status, so long as the recipients are in good academic standing and intend to continue their education at The Pennsylvania State University.
