Penn State Harrisburg celebrates fall 2018 commencement

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg held its fall 2018 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Giant Center in Hershey. Keynote speaker Jane Leipold, a Penn State Harrisburg alumna, addressed the more than 300 graduates in attendance. More than 700 degrees were conferred in all.

Leipold, founder of JAL Executive HR Consulting, is a global executive and consultant with a variety of business accomplishments in human resources, engineering and operations. Currently she works with CEOs and board directors to identify key strategies for driving growth, geographic expansion, and operational improvement at their companies. She retired in 2016 from TE Connectivity, a $14 billion global technology leader serving the consumer electronics, health care, automotive, aerospace and industrial machinery industries, where she was senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
