Zhezhen Fu, Ph.D.

Dr. Fu joined Penn State Harrisburg as an assistant professor in 2022. Dr. Fu’s research interests include solid-state electrolytes in Li metal batteries for energy storage, ceramic materials processing for structural applications, and mechanical properties of materials. Dr. Fu obtained his Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University. He was a postdoc at the University of Maryland and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville prior to joining Penn State Harrisburg. Dr. Fu has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal publications and delivered more than 20 conference presentations.
