Stephanie Grossnickle-Batterton

Stephanie Grossnickle-Batterton has been a professional writing tutor at Penn State Harrisburg since 2019. She enjoys working with students from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines to help them reach their writing goals. Stephanie holds a B.A. in English education from Elizabethtown College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in American studies from the University of Iowa. She has taught at both the high school and college level, including courses in English and American studies. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and catching up on movies and television shows. She lives in Lancaster County with her spouse and son. She enjoys working with students in the brainstorming and planning phases of a writing project.
