Biography
Dr. Yilmaz joined Penn State-Harrisburg in Fall 2014. Prior to joining Penn State-Harrisburg, Dr. Yilmaz held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Lycoming College. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in May 2012. His main research is in the areas of Applied Microeconomics and theory and applications of Economic Networks Models in Trade and Real Estate. He has published in journals such as Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and Ad Hoc Networks. Dr. Yilmaz has also presented his work at several national conferences and international academic institutions. He teaches several courses such as Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Decision Making and Strategy (Game Theory), Industrial Organization and International Economics.
