Refik Culpan, Ph.D.

Professor Emeritus of Management, School of Business Administration

Dr. Culpan has been with Penn State Harrisburg for more than 20 years, teaching strategic management, and international business management at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Additionally, he taught in Europe and Turkey. He also held executive positions in business.

Dr. Culpan has many publications including three books, numerous journal articles, and chapters in books. In the past, he has earned the college Award for Excellence in Teaching. He has also consulted for a number of business firms nationally and internationally. His research interests include multinational corporate strategies, strategic alliances between firms, and open innovation ventures.
