Biography
Rebecca Mallinson received her Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013, with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology. Her research focus is in the health of female athletes, specifically the relation among energy status and eating habits, reproductive health, and skeletal health. She has taught courses related to exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription, scientific research and writing, and the physiological and cultural/political aspects of female participation in sport.
