Raquel Lodeiro is a native of Spain and received her B.A. from the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain. She studied abroad in her final year of college with the prestigious Erasmus program at University College Dublin, Ireland. She then received her M.A. in linguistics from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT. She has taught beginning, intermediate and Spanish literature courses since 1999 at Minnesota State University at Moorhead, Texas A&M University (College Station) and Blinn College in Texas, Columbia Basin College in Washington State, and Lebanon Valley College and Elizabethtown College in PA. In addition to Spanish, she also taught various subjects in the high school equivalency program (HEP) while at Columbia Basin College and received the outstanding HEP instructor award in 2007. She has taught Spanish courses at Penn State Harrisburg since fall 2011.
