Biography
Dr. Aybat received her Ph.D. in marketing from Baruch College, City University of New York and joined Penn State Harrisburg in Fall 2012. Her research mainly focuses on two areas of consumer behavior: impact of emotions on consumers’ attitudes and behaviors as well as impact of individual differences on goal-pursuit processes. Her work has been published in journals such as Journal of Consumer Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Journal of Brand Management; and has been presented at major conferences such as the Association for Consumer Research and the Society for Consumer Psychology. She currently teaches Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, and Marketing Management.
