Biography
Nahed Khalil is Staff Counselor with International Student Focus position at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and also serves as the counselor liaison to the International Student Office.
Nahed has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Lebanon Valley College, and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lancaster Bible College. She has served many roles such as a therapist, behavioral health care coordinator, behavioral health care manager in clinical settings professionally, and a multicultural mentor in a college setting. Nahed is excited to bring a new perspective and holistic approach to engaging international students at Penn State Harrisburg, one she attributes to her own background, work experience, and understanding of similar cultural perspectives. Nahed also speaks Arabic.
