Dr. Kaynak has conducted post-doctoral research studies at universities and research institutions in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Four time recipient of The William J. Fulbright Senior Scholar award, Dr. Kaynak has also received a dozen or more awards and distinctions from a handful of international institutions and societies. He has lectured in diverse areas of marketing and international business in various countries, and served as a consultant/advisor in five continents in over forty countries. A prolific writer, Dr. Kaynak has had 25 books and over 200 scholarly and professional articles published. Among his book publications, one of his books was translated into Japanese and another one into Chinese. His areas of research have been in the areas of global marketing, comparative marketing systems, cross-cultural/national consumer behavior. He serves as editor-in-chief of Journal of Euromarketing, and co-edits the Advances in Global Management. Dr. Kaynak is on the editorial review boards of some leading marketing and international business journals of U.S. and European origin. He has been a senior training advisor, business consultant, and chief advisor to international agencies and a number of country governments. In addition, he has worked for Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, International Trade Center, Canadian International Development Agency, Finnish International Development Agency, Swedish International Development Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, Vice Chancellors of the University of Brunei Darussalam and University of the South Pacific. For a period of two years, he served as education and technology advisor to the President of Kyrgyz Republic.
