Biography
Emily Reed is a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Penn State Harrisburg. She comes to Penn State with ten years of library experience, including work in public libraries, school libraries, and academic libraries. She serves as the library faculty liaison to the School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg, which includes collection development, research support for faculty and students in the SPA, and library instruction. She also serves as the liaison to the Office of International Student Support Services, which includes curating resources, offering specialized services, and tailored outreach for international students.
Emily is very involved in the Pennsylvania Library Association. She is Past Chair of the Teaching, Learning & Technology Round Table, the Technical Coordinator for the College & Research Division, and a Committee Member for state mentoring program.
