Faiza Abbas joined the School of Business Administration in Spring 2017. She earned her post graduate degree in Labor and Employment Relations from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Before joining Penn State Harrisburg she taught at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations for several years. She also worked with Eagleton Institute of Politics in their Program on Immigration and Democracy, researching the immigrant-led business organizations and their impact on society. Her areas of interest include Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business and Society, Management and Labor Relations among others. Her research has been published in peer reviewed Management and Social Sciences journals.
She is currently the co-advisor for the SHRM student chapter at Penn State Harrisburg, and outreach coordinator for the School of Business Administration.
