Penn State Harrisburg invites applications for five tenure-track Assistant Professor positions as part of a new cluster hire in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Appointments will be made in the School of Humanities, School of Business Administration, and the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology, supporting the launch of the B.S. in Artificial Intelligence (Fall 2026) and the integration of AI across disciplines.
We seek scholars whose work advances AI methods or applications in fields such as communications and media, information sciences and technology, mechanical and manufacturing systems, civil and infrastructure systems, engineering computing, and smart systems design. Faculty will be expected to develop an active, externally fundable research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to curriculum and program development.
