Suggested Academic Plans are linked from the program page for each baccalaureate and associate degree major, and can also be found in the University Bulletin.
The course series listed in the Suggested Academic Plans provides only one of the many possible ways to move through a Penn State degree. These plans serve multiple University purposes and assist many audiences, including students, advisers, admissions officers, and family members. The University may make changes in policies, procedures, educational offerings, and requirements at any time. For current students, this plan should be used in conjunction with your degree audit (accessible in LionPATH (login required) as either an Academic Requirements or What If report). Please consult with a Penn State academic adviser on a regular basis to develop and refine an academic plan that is appropriate for you. For prospective students and their families, the Suggested Academic Plans can be used to anticipate the workload and courses needed to earn a degree from Penn State.
