A "Boobies Ball" to fund cancer awareness and research is coming to Penn State Harrisburg Friday, March 23.
Sponsored by the student Lion Ambassador organization on campus, the 9 p.m. to midnight dance in the Capital Union Building, all proceeds will be donated to the Middletown-based "Feel Your Boobies" Foundation.
The cost is $7 for adults or $5 for students with a valid college ID. Music will be provided by a local DJ.
Ninth graders from area high schools will receive an in-depth look at careers related to math and science when Penn State Harrisburg hosts the first Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Career Launch (STEM) on Thursday, March 15.
The program is designed to provide the students with an understanding of the course work and requirements and to encourage higher education study in mathematics and science related areas.

Real World Philadelphia star Karamo will be bringing fellow MTV celebrity Landon with him when he visits Penn State Harrisburg Tuesday, March 20.
Karamo’s initial presentation on campus was canceled due to inclement weather on February 15 and the rescheduling permitted Landon to join him on March 20.
The presentation by the two will be from 9:15 to 10:45 p.m. in the Community Center of the housing complex on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
