Applications are being accepted now through Jan. 23, 2024, for the Idea TestLab, a free, four-week, virtual accelerator designed to help entrepreneurs determine the viability of their business idea. The Idea TestLab is sponsored by the Penn State Harrisburg, Mont Alto, Shenango and York LaunchBoxes.

Senel Poyrazli, professor of psychology in the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education at Penn State Harrisburg, went to Turkey as a Fulbright Senior Scholar for the 2022-23 academic year to teach, conduct and present research, and complete a book related to multicultural competency. A devastating earthquake that hit the country and affected 11 states delayed her plans and caused her to pivot to using her clinical expertise as a counseling psychologist to assist her students and members of the community in the aftermath.

First-generation students Juan Serrano and Raulybel Perez worked with a committee of Student Affairs staff members to plan the events.
