Penn State Harrisburg participates in a number of Job Fairs during the Academic Year. Each of the fairs will typically give you access to over 150 organizations recruiting for full time, part time, and internship/co-op.

Meet the Firms

"Meet the Firms" is a career fair and networking event held in Penn State Harrisburg's Student Center in the CUB, which is specifically geared towards accounting students. Firm representatives will be in attendance to provide you with information regarding their organization, hiring needs and requirements for full-time and internship opportunities.

IST's Office of Career Solutions holds a career fair exclusive to the College of IST -- Pro Expo! The event, held in the IST building on the University Park campus, allows you to explore career and internship opportunities while giving employers exclusive access to our impressive pool of talented students.

There is no registration to attend these career fairs. Students simply need to bring their Penn State student ID with them to the registration table the day of the event in order to participate.

This large University-wide event is open to all students in all majors. Held annually in the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park campus, Fall Career Days spans three days of recruiting targeting full-time and internship/co-op positions. A job and internship fair hosted by the Penn State Harrisburg School of Science, Engineering and Technology in the Capital Union Building (CUB), Penn State Harrisburg. Meet with employer representatives recruiting for both full-time and internship positions. Firms participating in the fair inform students about their companies and career opportunities, connect with individual students, and collect resumes from graduating seniors as well as underclassmen. Individual interviews may be conducted on campus the following day or off campus at business locations. The participating companies are primarily located in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region, but several of them have national and international offices.

The WestPACS Job Fair, held at the Monroeville Convention Center (Business 22 and Monroeville Mall), offers employers with entry-level, internship and co-op positions an opportunity to meet in one central location with alumni, graduating students and underclassmen from 44 colleges in Western Pennsylvania.
Candidates must be current students or graduates of a college or university granting associates, bachelors and/or graduate degrees. Employers will be able to speak with candidates, distribute recruitment literature, and conduct brief interviews.
Students and alumni from schools outside the WestPACS consortium are welcome to attend as walk-ins. Walk-in registration is available at the door. The walk-in registration fee is $10.00 (cash only). Pre-registration is not available.
Event Entrance Policies:
- To enter the fair, candidates must have completed or be currently enrolled in an associate, bachelors or graduate degree program. All candidates are required to present a resume stating school and degree information entering the fair.
- Appropriate dress is required for admission to the job fair. Candidates are strongly advised to wear business professional interviewing attire such as a business suit. Candidates may be denied entrance to the fair if not appropriately dressed.
- Only candidates for jobs and internships will be allowed into the employer area. Guests accompanying the candidates are not permitted into the job fair.
- Children are not permitted.

Students interested in attending graduate school should come to Graduate and Professional School Week at the HUB-Robeson Center Alumni Hall at University Park to meet with representatives of various graduate schools from around the country.

We regret to inform you that the March 14th Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD) is canceled. due to the most recent weather forecast of 12-18 inches of snow for our region. While we are not able to reschedule the fair, we encourage you to reach out to the school districts directly to express your interest. Please apply online at their websites, contact their HR offices to inquire about opportunities, and make good use of education job sites such as PA-REAP and PA Educator. Additionally, your education department will receive program booklets that were printed for the fair that include the full list of participating school districts and details of their hiring needs. Please use this to guide you in your search. Furthermore, do not hesitate to contact your Career Services office for additional assistance and support.
Held in Marauder Court of the Student Memorial Center (SMC) at Millersville University. Sponsored by Penn State Harrisburg and 10 other Central PA colleges, this job fair is an opportunity for education majors who are seeking teaching positions to meet with school district representatives from across the nation.
Please note that the fair will feature an Open Format from 9 am - 1 pm to facilitate candidate screenings and mini-interviews. All candidates are welcomed. This will be followed by a Closed Format from 1 pm - 3 pm in which full interviews and additional mini-interviews will take place by invitation only.
